As an Evening Social Attendant, you will support the hotel’s evening hospitality hour by preparing and serving food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for all guests. This role includes setting up food stations, portioning and storing ingredients, replenishing supplies, and interacting with guests in a friendly, attentive manner.You will ensure that all service and presentation standards aremet while creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience for guests winding down their day. You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by living out our company purpose: “hospitality from our family to yours."


Job Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a timely, courteous manner.
  • Engage guests in a friendly and professional way; thank them with genuine appreciation.
  • Process orders and handle payments accurately, following property cash-handling procedures.
  • Greet every guest encountered during the shift with a warm, service-minded attitude.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages during evening service, including alcoholic drinks.
  • Follow standardized food preparation techniques, including measuring, washing, peeling, cutting, slicing, stirring, and portioning.
  • Store food products properly with attention to temperature and spoilage regulations; rotate inventory according to FIFO guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality and cooking temperatures; recognize signs of spoilage or improper preparation.
  • Clean and reset tables during and after service, ensuring all dining and prep areas are well-maintained.
  • Verify legal drinking age by checking accepted forms of ID.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately if a guest should no longer be served alcohol due to behavior or signs of impairment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, equipment, refrigeration units, and utensils per local and company health codes.
  • Dispose of garbage, maintain sanitation logs, and ensure workspaces are safe and organized.
  • Follow all company and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to a manager immediately.
  • Complete all required safety trainings and certifications.Count and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift following property policy.
  • Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found articles.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Protect guest confidentiality and uphold key security and emergency procedures.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to meet evolving business demands.
Job Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food and beverage role such as restaurant server, bartender, or similar hospitality position.
  • TIPS certification required (training provided ifnot currently certified).
  • ServSafe certification required (training provided if not currently certified).
  • Experience using a point-of-sale system preferred.
  • Must be team-oriented, dependable, and possess a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires frequent and prolonged standing, walking, bending, stretching, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Must maintain visual acuity to operate POS systems and inspect the quality of food and beverages.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure or in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat (kitchen), cold (storage areas), and loud noise levels.
